Our members are dedicated to ''Bringing Out the Best in Kids'' and to do our part by supporting community activities and service projects which provide a positive role model to children and youth throughout the Welland and Pelham area. The words of The Optimist Creed are well known to our Optimists and it gives each member a focus for personal improvement as we work to better the world around us.Recent Donations: City of Welland Recreation's Summer Camp, Niagara Sexual Assault Center, 9th Welland Scout Troop, Huntington's Society of Niagara Marathon, Niagara Youth Symphony Summer Camp. When a need arises in our community the Welland Optimist Club is ready to offer help.Our club members are Optimists and we strive to live up to the name, and maintain an upbeat attitude, which we try to pass along to the children we serve.
